Broken Bow Sunrise
Broken Bow is a hidden gem in the wilderness of Southeast Oklahoma that is the origin of my life's story. I wasn't born there, and I've never actually lived there, but my parents went to school and met in Broken Bow, many of my family members have some sort of connection with this area, and visiting the gorgeous lake in Broken Bow has become a regular part of my life. For my recent birthday, my only birthday wish was to get some photographs of the sunrise over Broken Bow lake

The old truck in the Texas pasture.
A good photograph tells a great story, or at least implies one. I've driven by this truck on a two lane Texas highway dozens of times thinking that it would make a great photograph, and finally decided to stop by to get it. I already know this truck is older than I am, but how did it get to this pasture? Who has it belonged to over he decades? Who drove it there, or was it towed? Why has it sat here to be overgrown by sunflowers in a pasture? There is a story older than I am
